Swim by day, Swim by night, but not before we take a quick journey into the past…Your day starts with a 50 minute journey to Green Grotto Caves where you will take a tour underground to learn about some of Jamaica’s first inhabitants.  Afterwards, we’ll drive five minutes down the road to Puerto Seco Beach, a beach meant for fun with rentable jet skis and other equipment.  All that water activity will surely make you hungry and the Ultimate Jerk Center serves as the perfect venue for lunch, located right across the street from the caves. On the way back to Montego Bay, you will close the evening with a nighttime boat tour of Glistening Waters, where you will not only see the illumination from the organisms in this lagoon, but you can also take a dip in the dark waters! 

Green Grotto Caves

From providing shelter for Jamaica’s native people, the Tainos, to giving runaway slaves a safe place to hide, to being a rum storehouse, the Green Grotto Caves have a rich history that many have never learned. 

Puerto Seco Beach

A fun beach with rentable jet skis and bikes.  Food and drinks are sold as well. 

Glistening Waters

This lagoon is illuminating.  Literally!  On this nighttime boat tour, the stars and river compete.  Your guide will entertain you with songs, educate you with the history of the area, and let you know when it’s safe to jump into the black water and swim with the microscopic organisms that give Glistening Waters its name.   This is a short tour, about 35 minutes, but if you want to arrive in time for an early dinner or a late lunch at the Glistening Waters Restaurant, Jamrock Journeys will arrange that for you!  The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood including conch, shrimp, and lobster!
